DAY 1

Our first day started with a welcome ceremony at Skautský institut at Kampa where most of the meetings and workshops took place. We introduced ourselves and played a Kahoot to get to know the Czech Republic better. Lastly the Czech team had a presentation about the Czech Republic and Prague. Afterwards we went on a guided tour by the Czech students. They told us more about the most famous sights, for example Lennon's wall, Prague Castle, Charles Bridge and Wenceslas Square.

DAY 2

Once again we started the day at the Skautský institut where the students from Poland, Lithuania, Bulgaria and Slovenia introduced the activities that took place in their countries during previous Erasmus meetings. The presentations were hard to understand for some of the students that hadn’t been to the previous meeting. The Bulgarians also came up with an activity for creative writing in the form of an article, which we did in mixed international groups. After lunch at the school’s canteen, we walked around GJP and then the school’s principal Michal Musil had a speech to welcome the students from different countries. In the afternoon we had a debate workshop led by John Whalley. Students once again worked in mixed international groups. The point of the workshop was to help the students develop their critical thinking and speaking skills.

DAY 3

Our third day started at the main train station from which we went to Kutná Hora. We visited the Saint Barbara’s cathedral and then we had a workshop in the GASK gallery called, Everyday Gestures inspired by the artist Adriena Šimotová who uses motifs of the human body in her work. We talked about the human body and the principles of communicating without words. Later we tried to express our everyday gestures on paper. After the workshop we walked to the Kostnice ossuary, the famously known “bone church”. There we had a guided to tour and some time to look around. At night everybody met up at L’Osteria for dinner nearby the school.

DAY 4

The last day also started at the Skautský institut. GJP teachers, mr. Kubíček and mrs.Tutrová, prepared a workshop focused on propaganda in media, children used in propaganda and the different types of propaganda. In the afternoon we met up at GJP where the Czech students had their final presentation to summarize the whole Erasmus+ project ,,The Critical and Creative Thinking: The Way Ahead”. With this the program ended and then came the time for goodbyes.
