Prywatne Liceum im. Melchiora Wańkowicza was founded in 2000. At first it consisted only of kindergarten, but in the following years it has developed, so now, students can study here, until the end of high school. We’re located in Katowice, the so-called heart of Silesia. Our school was the first one in the region, that offered the International Baccalaurate programme. In our school, students get acquainted with people from different parts of the world, what helps to broaden their horizons. Our goal is to mould students into competent, educated people, who are fully capable of participating in adult life. To achieve it, we guarantee high level of education and modern teaching methods, but also beside traditional learning and professional preparation for additional exams, such as FCE, ECDL, DELE, we are encouraging our students to evolve their passions and develop new skills. In our school, we encourage students to not only participate in various activities, but also to try to become leaders, improve themselves and expand their knowledge. To help them, we are organizing fascinating extracurricular activities, for instance Music, Drama or Arts. Our students get teachers’ support in different projects, such as Erasmus, and charities: The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, People to People International, Amnesty International, and other wonderful events. Moreover, in our school you can also experience some amazing expeditions to different countries with friendly and open-minded people.
